Dismantle and clean
This may look like a tough process, but believe us this is the best way to clean the sippers. Different sippers have different designs that often make it difficult to clean. Thus, to clean it properly dismantle the sipper from the removable parts, such as a lid, straw, or gasket, then clean them separately first and then clean the base of the bottle.
Soak and rinse
Another smart and easy way to clean your sippers is by boiling water in a large vessel along with baking soda, lemon juice, and salt. Turn off the flame, dismantle the sipper bottles and soak them all in the large vessel. Clean with soap wash and scrub, allow it to dry and then assemble.
A simple yet effective way to remove the build up and clean the sipper bottles is by preparing a vinegar solution with warm water and equal parts of vinegar soak the glass sippers and clean them with a bottle, a brush and mild dish wash. Then soak in lukewarm water, allow it to dry up and then use.
Clean the caps and straws
As much as it is essential to clean the sipper bottle, it is also important to pay attention to the bottle cap corners and straw openings as these are the places where buildup happens faster than any other portion of the bottle. The easiest way to clean that is by applying a solution of vinegar, salt and baking soda and wiping them off after 10-15 minutes and cleaning each component thoroughly with mild dish wash and water. Once done soak in warm water to remove any remaining residue. Allow the parts to dry up and then assemble to use.
